The Emilia Chamber of Commerce launched a new Call, called BC24 ESG, aimed at actively supporting companies in the promotion of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) values through the acquisition of recognised certifications.
Objective of the call
The primary objective is to encourage and guide companies in their search for environmental, ethical and social excellence, as well as in the promotion of ESG values, which are essential for competitiveness in the current market.
Addressees
The call is addressed to all companies with registered offices and/or operating units active in the territorial district of the Emilia Chamber of Commerce.
How to submit applications
- Requests for contributions must be transmitted online only, digitally signed by the legal representative of the company, through the electronic counter "Contributions to Companies" available in the Web system Infocamere – e-gov services.
- The opening period for the submission of applications runs from 11:00 am on 29/04/2024 to 16:00 on 27/09/2024. It should be noted that early submission of applications is not permitted.

Amount of contribution and Types of intervention
The grant shall cover 50% of the costs documented and eligible, net of VAT, up to a maximum of €14.000,00, with the possibility of an additional premium of €250,00 on the rating of legality. The minimum eligible investment is €5.000,00.
Financial Certifications
Some of the eligible certifications are as follows:
- UNI/ PdR 125:2022 – Management Systems for Gender Equality
- SA 8000 (Ethical certification)
- ESG-SDGs Rating:2022 – Management systems for the sustainable development of organisations or products
- UNI EN ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems)
- EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) and much more.
Certifications must be issued by third parties accredited to an accreditation body present in a Member State of the European Union, the United States and the United Kingdom. Only one application for one type of certification for each undertaking is allowed.
Eligible expenditure
Financial expenditure shall include:
- Advice for obtaining certifications
- Initial and/or final environmental surveys
- Training costs of accredited bodies
- Costs invoiced by the third certifying body
Deadlines and Contacts
