What do we do?

Sustainability Report – DNF

COMMEND YOUR COMMITMENT WITH VALID AND INCLUSIVE DOCUMENTS

To tell the sustainability and ESG approach of a company is no longer just a regulatory obligation, but a real opportunity. Companies preparing to communicate sustainability through comprehensive, compliant and inclusive documents are growing more and more.

The Sustainability Report and the NFC represent two separate documents that allow the company’s sustainable approach to be reported in accordance with the reporting standards (GRI Standards).

WHAT IT IS

THE SUSTAINABILITY BUDGET

The sustainability balance represents an opportunity for companies that aim to trace a path of social responsibility, continuous improvement and transparency. Through this tool, it is possible to narrate the policies adopted to consolidate its sustainability, illustrate the results achieved and highlight future objectives.

When it's best

Differentiating from the sustainability report for its focus on stakeholder management, the sustainability budget emerges as a comprehensive and influential non-financial reporting tool. While listed companies, SMEs and large companies are preparing for the forthcoming obligation, all companies can already voluntarily benefit from the power of this document. Using it, you can manage business risks more effectively, strengthen your corporate image and demonstrate a sustainable approach.

WHAT IT IS

NON-Financial DECLARATION

The NFC is an information document covering social, environmental, personnel, respect for human rights and the fight against active and passive corruption. It shall provide a description of the management model and organisation of business activities, policies adopted, results achieved through these policies, non-financial performance indicators, as well as the risks generated or incurred related to the topics covered in the document. These risks may arise from business activities themselves or business relationships.

When to write it

The obligation to draw up the Non-Financial Statement (NDF) concerns Public Interest Entities (EIPs) with more than 500 employees and a balance sheet of more than EUR 20 million or total revenues of more than EUR 40 million. This obligation also extends to EIPs belonging to large parent companies of large groups. These parties must accompany the NFC with an external guarantee and, from 1 January 2022, they must also comply with the information obligations laid down in the European Union Taxonomy Regulation.

WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO ACCOUNT SUSTAINABILITY

Compliance with legal obligations

With Legislative Decree 254/2016, Italy introduced the obligation to report non-financial assets. Soon, this responsibility will involve more business realities, including SMEs.

Strengthen corporate image

Stakeholders recognise the value of these tools because, thanks to their understanding of the company’s ESG strategy, they are able to guide their decisions and actions.

Manage Risks and Resources

Non-financial documents provide a clear vision of the company, allowing better resource optimisation and more effective management of ESG risks.

Anticipates market demands

Stakeholder management and materiality analysis are integral elements of non-financial documents, which allow us to understand the demands and expectations of suppliers, investors and consumers.
